Scholarship Branch

SBK Women’s University Sub Campus Pishin established their scholarship Branch in 2017; it gives financial support to the students.

Moreover, different donors are also supporting SBK Women’s University Sub Campus Pishin students in the form of scholarships on Merit and Need Based.
The Scholarship is being supervised by the Assistant Controller Farzana Tareen E-mail: Farzana.tareen7@gmail.com also acts as a Focal Person for the distribution of various scholarships offered by SBK Women’s University Quetta and other donors.

1. SBK Need Based Scholarship

Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University awards scholarship to the Needy students of the university. To improves the living standard of students by providing Financial Aid opportunities. The aim of strengthening institute in resource generation is to facilitate and meet the increased expectations of financially constrained but talented current and prospective students of the institute.

2. SBK Shohada (F.C) Scholarship

SBK shohada scholarship awarded to the bright and deserving student of the SBK women’s university donated by frontier corpse (IGFC (N).

2.1. Eligibility Criteria

The following criteria must be considered eligible for the scholarship:

  • All Pakistani nationals
  • Hold a confirmed admission in university
  • Poor monthly income of parents from all sources
  • Be pursuing a four-year bachelor’s degree

3. Pak-USAID Scholarship

The Pak-USAID Merit and Needs based Scholarship is focused on providing opportunities for access to higher education especially to under privileged candidates who, despite possessing academic merit, are unable to finance their education. The scholarship is not restricted to tuition only, but extends to accommodation and living expenses.

3.1. Eligibility Criteria for Scholarships

  • The applicant must be a Pakistani/AJK National.
  • Financial assistance & scholarships are available for study at undergraduate & graduate level in the following disciplines at the selected 29 Pakistani universities (including SBK Women’s University) and degree awarding institutions.
  1. Agricultural & Veterinary Sciences
  2. Business Administration
  3. Social Sciences
  4. Engineering & Tech.
  5. Medical
  • Students need to compete for securing admission in the approved discipline at the participating institution as per admission policy of the institution and be enrolled in Undergraduate (4 and 5) and Graduate (2 Years and 3.5 years) programs.
  • Only those students who are enrolled in first semester/professional year in the respective courses offered by the participating institutions are eligible to apply.
  • The eligibility of a candidate is linked to neediness of the candidate as determined & assessed by the financial background of his/her family.

3.2. Scholarship Composition

Comprehensive scholarship offered under this program provides funds for the following expenses:

  • Transportation
  • Books
  • Other Academics Costs

3.3. How to Apply

Students applying for admission and financial assistance will fill out both the applications and submit the form to the University Admissions Office and Financial Aid Office respectively. 4. HUBCO Scholarship

The Hub Power Company Limited wishes to provide scholarships to the eligible students of SBK Women’s University.Educating the women of Balochistan has been a regular part of our educational interventions. The scholarship covers semester fee, stipend and hostel charges.

5. Pakistan Scottish Scholarship

Pakistan Scottish Scholarship is a Fully Funded Scholarship in Pakistan for Bachelors or Masters/M.Phil degree in Pakistani universities. The Scholarship will Cover a Bachelors, Masters/M.Phil degree at any HEC recognized University.
British Council will administer the scheme in Pakistan and coordinate with selected scholars and universities either directly or through nominated university focal persons.

5.5. Eligibility Criteria

The following criteria must be met to be considered eligible for the scholarship:
  • Only female applicants can apply.
  • Be Pakistani nationals currently residing in Pakistan.
  • Be pursuing a four-year bachelor’s degree or two-year master’s degree in the above-listed subject area.
  • Hold a confirmed admission offer from an HEC recognized university in Pakistan
  • Young women with disabilities, from rural areas and/or minority groups are encouraged to apply.

6. Balochistan Education Endowment Fund (BEEF) Scholarship

The BEEF under the slogan of “SAY-YES-TO-MERIT” is awarding Educational Scholarships to the talented students (boys and girls) of Balochistan. Beef scholarship is allocated for Open Merit Scholarships Outreach for Balochistan, need-based open merit under special quota for other parts of the country and need-based under special quota for Extremely Vulnerable Individuals of five most neglected segments of society.

6.1. Eligibility Criteria

  • Students of Secondary; Intermediate incl: DAE; Graduation; Professional Degree; and MS/MPhil)
  • Scholarships will be awarded to meritorious (Local/domicile of Balochistan) students.
  • Student must be studying in any regular (public/private) institution as full time student.
  • For Special Quota Scholarship, the student must fall in at least one of the special quota categories;
    1. Orphan/Children of Shaheed
    2. Children of govt. servants in BPS 1 – 4
    3. Special Children
  • Student must not be availing any other educational scholarship during the current academic year that exceeds the annual stipend amount provided by BEEF.
  • Scholar must maintain 75% attendance till completion of degree program.
  • Secured at least 60% marks in (annual) or a minimum CGPA 3.0 in previous semesters.

7. Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) Scholarship

PEEF is an initiative of the Government of Punjab with the objective of providing Scholarships to talented and needy students. There are three major categories of PEEF scholarship/

a. Scholarships at Intermediate and Undergraduate level

PEEF awards scholarships to talented and needy students who showed outstanding performance in their tehsils/districts in the Secondary and Intermediate Examinations. PEEF itself contacts the eligible students.

b. Master level

PEEF has launched Master Level Scholarships. These scholarships are awarded to talented and deserving students studying at Post Graduation level on the basis of graduation level examinations and this scholarship is awarded through the Institutions.

c. Special Quota Category

Special Quota Scholarship applications are invited by the PEEF via News Papers and concerned Institutions.
